Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Using OpenOffice 3.0.1 (build 9379) under linux.

I open a spreadsheet previously built and used successfully under OpenOffice windows (Latest version).

Some of the formulae now result in a value! fault even when a blank cell is used in the forumla.

If I delete the contents of a blank cell (under linux) it seems to fix it.

However this fault is also found for some non blank cells.

In summary the Windows OpenOffice treats cells differently to the Linux OpenOffice when it comes to using formulas.

Hi Chris,

I have a duel boot system using Wubi.

The windows version of OpenOffice is 3.0.0 (not the latest) running
under Windows XP

I have the latest version of Ubuntu (9.04)

I would like to use this attached document from both Windows OpenOffice
as well as Linux Open Office.

However when I open it under OpenOffice Linux I get a lot of #value! faults.

If you could assist that would be greatly appreciated.

I love Ubuntu and intend to install it directly onto my hard disk
without wubi, but only once I have backed up my Windows.

If I can help you any more please let me know.

It appears that all the #VALUE! cells depend on the contents of other #VALUE! cells and I can't find the source cell to determine what is going wrong. Any idea which root cell is causing this issue?

I think it might be due to a bunch of comparisons to empty cells, but I am not completely sure.
