Bug Description

The translation of Amarok in Kubntu is incomplete and partly wrong.
I was about to report this when I saw it already was reported upstream - in the wrong place as it seems: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191247 (also contains screenshot).

Why can't Kubuntu just use the KDE localization from Debian, since it's based on Debian anyway? Instead it breaks it all over the place, making the KDE experience not a very nice one, irritating suers and frustrating developers. I read you are working on fixing Rosetta for that, but that still does not explain why Kubuntu does not ship the Debian translations until Roetta can use the upstream translations and keep them up-to-date without breaking them.

After upgrading to Kubuntu 9.10, the translation errors are gone - thanks :)
