Can you comment how reproducible this issue is or how often it re-occurs? Could you try running the latest upstream vanilla kernel and see if you can reproduce? https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/KernelMainl ineBuilds . I'd suggest trying the 2.6.30-rc7 kernel as of this posting. Thanks.
