[g41][West Lake] U9.04: Maximum with other resolutions disappeared after several changing (17,19)

Description: With system configured with 17" and/or 19" panels, by changing the graphic resolution several time resulted in maximum and other resolutions options disappeared

Steps to replicate:
1. Ensure the system is configure with 17" and/or 19" panels.
2. Install Ubuntu 9.04 DELL-reinstall on to the system.
3. Launch resolution UI and change the resolution several times
4. Observe the phenomenon occurred.

System architecture i686
kernel ver.: 2.6.28-11-generic

Config 1:
CPU: Intel Cel 450
Chipset: Intel G41 + ICH7
HDD: Western Digital 80GB
ODD: TSST DVD-ROM
Memory: Hynix DDR2 800 1GB
Audio Chipset: Conexant CX20582-10Z
LVDS: LG Philips 17" / LG Philips 19"
Card Reader: VIA VT6325
LAN: Realtek R8111DL

This issue can be solved by system update with kernel version upgraded.
With current status that kernel version 12 is not announced formally yet, but still can be updated by enabling the propsed-repository.
