Binary package hint: nautilus

Installing on the 9.04 desktop remix with apt-get install ubuntu-netbook-remix.
Then later type sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-netbook-remix.
Desktop without application ......House to do?

Try this: reinstall the package. Then in X11 open up Preferences --> Desktop Mode --> Classic. Then deinstall the package. i suspect tha t your desktop is still trying to start in remix mode but doesn't have the packages for it.
