install ubuntu-netbook-remix on the 9.04; remove ubuntu-netbook-remix ... desktop crash .. without applications

Then later type sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-netbook-remix.
Desktop without application ......House to do?

Try this: reinstall the package. Then in X11 open up Preferences --> Desktop Mode --> Classic. Then deinstall the package. i suspect tha t your desktop is still trying to start in remix mode but doesn't have the packages for it.
