Bug Description
The computer seemingly goes into hibernation, ie. both the HDD and the 'sleep' light blink on the machine, and the power is shut off. However, on turning the machine back on, it simply goes into a normal boot sequence, effectively starting the system from scratch. No errors or any 'acknowledgement' of hibernation is ever visible.
kern.log.0 doesn't seem to log the hibernation attempt, either.
Thanks,
Serge

I had the exact same problem on my Thinkpad X300 under 9.04, and now also under 9.10.
