Bug Description

gm-notify by default takes a snippet of text from the mail and adds it to the notification. This means that the data can be seen on the screen (and probably also to people listening to dbus, which I assume is used for communication).

What if the first words include confidential data or passwords, they would be displayed to anyone currently looking at the screen.

Some people might like a privacy mode where the only notification you get is "new mail arrived".

Changed in gm-notify:
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Confirmed
Changed in gm-notify:
milestone: none → 1.0
