Bug Description

As stated in the Adobe security bulletin at http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb09-04.html, "Critical vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 and earlier versions. These vulnerabilities would cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. There are reports that one of these issues is being exploited (CVE-2009-0658)."

Adobe patched this vulnerability in Reader 8.1.4 and 9.1, so please update the repositories ASAP.

Two new vulnerabilities have just been found as reported at http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/04/28/adobe_reader_flaw/, so we need to watch for updates to these latest versions as well.
