Bug Description
The gtk-recordmydesktop save dialogue breaks conventions, misleading users. It needs a bit of a redesign.
The way it looks now it makes users believe that:
"When attempting to save a recorded video recordmydesktop uses the last typed in path and filename instead of the one entered."(quote from the original bug report)

That is what I thought, too. But what is really going on is that gtk-recordmydesktop saves the recording automatically. So it expects the user to press "save as" and input a filename before starting the recording. This is not like the other programs do it and therefore stumps the user. It needs either to temporary save and only save to a user selected place with save as when the user wants to save, or it needs a file preselection box like the other HIG conform programs.
