Pidgin emits noise with sound alerts

Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

I've set pidgin to play sound alerts on incoming messages. However, noise follows the actual pidgin sound alert. Pidgin is using the default alert sound.

It's not like the noise is audible for ever. It's only audible while the alert is; and disappears along.
