by pushing a key/entering a string, nautilus does not focus the fitting folder/file

Binary package hint: nautilus

Usually nautilus should focus on the folder/file which are beginning with the entered letter/string. Since the update to ubuntu 9.04 nautilus isn't doing that!

I am using an complete up-to-date system

with which view/mode are you getting that? works fine for me with browser mode and list/icon view.

its in the browser mode in all views (icons, list, compact)

i removed beagle. is there any relationship between beagle and this nautilus-search?

the issue is easily triggered:
1. open nautilus (by personal default in list view, see attachment)
2. hit any "letter" key (or alternatively click on any list entry and then hit any "letter" key)
3. nothing happens (especially no focus on the entry beginning with the letter hit)
