Hi Sebastien,

This makes me feel like a fool! Last night Evolution was behaving
exactly as I described in the Bug report(368445) and also a repeat
performance tonight so I filed the bug report seeing it was quite
reproducible. Now basically as soon as i did, the problem disappeared :(
It's now working perfectly. I admit I'm confused and feeling very
foolish :(

Regards

BEvan

I had the exact same problem just after upgrading on Sunday. Rebooting the system eventually fixed the problem (it took me 48 hours to figure since I am not used to rebooting when I do not need to).

I suspect some older dynamic libraries were still in use along with new ones.

closing the bug then since that's not an evolution one and that works now
