Bug Description

When CD integrity check is selected from the CD boot menu, the only message that appears on screen is "Uncompressing the Linux kernel ... done". The user is then left in the dark as to what is happening and what progress has been made. There should be a progress bar or at least an informational message, both of which should be consistent with the looks of the Ubuntu installer.

This is fixed as far as I can see in ubuntu 8.10 intrepid ibex (probably 8.04 as well)
