alacarte can not create menu item of type Location

Steps to reproduce:
* Run alacarte
* Try to create new item of type Location
* Nothing happens

Expected: launcher for the location should be created.

thank you for your bug report, alacarte is a menu editor and edit menus it's not made to create locations

So, as I understood, it is not possible for the user to make himself menu item of the places->home type?

But there is functionality to create launchers of the location type. What is the point then to have this functionality in Alacarte?
