Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
Ubuntu 9.04: Enabling Visual Effects prevents menu and windows updates using Vino Remote Desktop via RealVNC.
The system is using an nVidia 8600M GS w/ 512MB, both 1.73 and 1.80 have been tested. Setting Visual Effects to None eliminates the update issue.
Vino: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1
Compiz: 1:0.8.2-0ubuntu8
nVidia Binary Drivers: 1.73 and/or 1.80
