Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It looks like you had a custom (not from an Ubuntu package) install of python-dictclient which dpkg is respecting and not installing over. Please try removing your previous install of it and reinstalling the package. Thanks in advance.

uninstalling and installing the package worked great.

I did get this:
