Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

Hello,

I formated various PCs and I installed Kubuntu Jaunty (32 bits) on them and always I get the same bug when I try to rip audio CDs with audiocd:/ KIO Slave in Dolphin: the encoded MP3 files are corrupted and I only hear noise.

This always happened to me in Kubuntu Intrepid and now in Jaunty isn't still solved.

I'm getting the same problem in Kubuntu Jaunty. The same problem shows up on the Debian bug tracker, so I've added a bug watch for that. I've also changed the bug title to make it more clear on here. Comments on the Debian bug suggest it might only be broken on i386, but I can't test on other architectures.
