Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

Pidgin freezes after I renamed one group and accepted its offer to fusion to groups. There was no group with the new name and the only change made in the old name was capitalizing the first letter. It still asked me and froze afterwards.

I have a slow and unreliable connection, but I believe that the connection was stable at the time of breakdown. Pidgin had been started about a minute before this and was fully functional and connected when this came up. I have let Pidgin be for about ten minutes after this without change. The dialog window is visible, but empty and all menu objects have dissappeared from the contact list.

New coputer, new install, new connection...and I hardly remember how the bug was. But...I can't make it crash reproducing it with what I wrote above....so I believe it's good now :)

Have a nice weekend.
