Bug Description
Running final Ubuntu 9.04 UNR on Acer Aspire One 110L (in general works satisfactorily).
When a SD card is inserted in the left hand slot, then the card is recognized, mounted and Nautilus opens to show its content. In the places column within Nautilus the SD card is shown and the icon for being mounted (the horizontal bar with an upward pointing triangle above it) is shown next to it. But while the remix desktop shows the SD card as a line "X GB Media" in its right column, it does NOT show the mounted icon, although the card does remain mounted. When the SD card is removed without a previous explicit unmount, then for a very brief moment the mounted icon is shown in the line before the line is removed completely.
I also cannot unmount the card by clicking on the "X GB Media" line on the desktop, because then Nautilus opens with the card mounted.
Same happens when the right hand slot is used, but due to the known bug a card first has to be present at boot time, before this removing/inserting results in mounts/unmounts.
Is UNR confused by the strange device notation for the SD card like /dev/mmcblk0p1?

I confirm this behaviour in a eeepc 900. The mounted icon is not shown in the remix desktop for SD cards (which is mounted as /dev/sdc1).
The same happens to me for normal USB sticks, but not always. If the USB stick has a single partition the mounted icon is sometimes displayed and sometimes not (randomly, it seems to me). If the USB stick has 2 partitions the mounted icon is always displayed for the second partion and not for the first one.
