Bug Description
Binary package hint: usb-creator
The created usb volumes are not bootable here. The Ubuntu splashscreen is displayed with the box running from left to right for a *very* long time, afterwards I'm thrown in the console with a modprobe error message (see screenshot). I'm using Jaunty.

I stumbled over this workaround while trying to install ubuntu netbook remix via USB. As modules.dep i used one from a standard desktop installation (same kernel version).
Here is a explanation how to get the modules.dep into the Initrd: ubuntuforums. org/showpost. php?p=7312473& postcount= 5
