/home partition gets corrupted after some using

I tried several times to install the new Jaunty jackalope, but always after some using I got a corrupted /home partition.
It happened at first using the new ext4, but even using ext3 is not a solution...
During use, ubuntu doesn't respond any more, and if rebooted a console is displayed where it's asked to run fsck manually. Fsck can rescue the partition, but it's becoming quite annoying.

not only /home partition gets corrupted, but even root. Keeping installing over and over is quite annoying; I'd try installing kernel 2.6.29 and give it a try.
If the problem persists I'll downgrade to intrepid.

yes, i think so... I'm using a compal as well (jhl90). Furthermore I installed the 2.6.29 kernel and this seems to have solved the issue for now.
