Ubuntu 9.04 Internet crashed with nokia3110c phone : connect to internet but cannot go to any web site and update anything

Bug Description

Problem: Connect to internet via Nokia 3110c but firefox dosen't go to any website and update anything:

I think this is Networkapplet bug

PC spec:
Intel Pentium 4 2.40GHz
256Mb Ram
Asus P4V8X-X mother board
Nokia phone firmware : v.07.21
Where : Thailand

I install new ubuntu 9.04 and try to connect to internet via Nk3110c Phone with DTAC sim
It connected but when I use firefox and go to www.google.com it doesn't work
i try to other web site but it doesn't work too.I cannot update anything. I boot into ubuntu 9.04 live cd and try connect it doesn't work but when I boot into ubuntu 8.10 live cd and connect it work!

I thing that is a problem
can you send a patch to me

Oh I found how to fix it.
I try to edit IPv4 Setting Method of my connection
to Automatic (PPP) !NOT Automatic(PPP) addresses only and it work for ME!
