Hi!

Just installed Jaunty UNR from scratch on a Dell Mini 9. Using "ozerocdoff" from the Lauchpad package to switch the Option iCon 401 into modem mode. Set the security of the SIM card to "no PIN request", so no PIN is required (to circumvent another issue). When trying to connect to the network, NetworkManager crashes, the system might eventually freeze. I was not able to reproduce the later to a 100%. Here is the details:

System: Ubuntu 9.04

could be that its using the wrong port. does upgrading to the jaunty packages in network-manager ppa help (https://launchpad.net/~network-manager/+archive/ppa) you?
