Ubuntu9.04: Webcam can't work

Bug Description

[WestLake]:Install Ubuntu9.04 and update the kernel to latest.

When update video driver to 2.6.3, system can do S3/S4 correctly, but Webcam can't work properly, it will cause GDM crash and system will log out automatically;
When update video driver to 2.7.0, webcam can work well, but S3/S4 can't work. (The attachment is the log file).

Hi, More detail on this issue:

HW: WestLake
Config: WL-PT-C7-3;
OS: Ubuntu 9.04 RC image;
Kernal version: 2.6.28-11;

Step1: Install clear OS, system fail to enter S3/S4, only display log-in interface;
Step2: Go to Synaptic Package Manager, reload the all update package and apply;
Step3: Check Intel Video driver is 2.6.3 version.
   Make system enter S3/S4, can resume back successfully.
   Run “Cheese” application in terminal, it cause GDM crash, and system will log out automatically;
Step4: Download Intel latest driver 2.7.0, compile and install it on system.
   Run “Cheese” application and it works well;
   Make system enter S3/S4, failed.

    Can you try a fresh install of the release version of 9.04. What is behavior?

Confirmed patch is already submitted to Jaunty kernel tree, and is now available in proposed repository. After enabling the pre-released repository and perform a system upgrade, issue can no longer be reproduced.
