Hi

Display control doesn't start here:
adding Pantalla /usr/share/applications/kde/displayconfig.desktop

Using dapper up to date. Amd64 arch. ati radeon x700 with fglrx.

Have you been upgrading you system from Hoary all the way up to Dapper? It looks like your system encoding is ascii while your xorg.conf contains utf-8 a character.

Displayconfig will be more tolerant for this problem in 0.6.4.

This seems to happen in my 2 amd64 machines, a laptop & a desktop pc.
