[i965] Desktop effect could not be enabled on Ubuntu 9.04/intel GM965/GL960

Hi,

After a migration to ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 from ubuntu 8.10, the desktop effect could not be enabled. however, it's worked for me with ubuntu 8.10.
bellow result:
