I got this error in the migration from 8.10 to 9.04 doing "update-manager -d"

same problem here, except that I have clean install of Ubuntu 9.04. Whatever I try to install, Synapric says that post-installation script of sun-java6-jdk failed. If I try to remove jdk package, it fails too, with message: "E: sun-java6-jdk: subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 2"
