Bug Description
After updating to Jaunty, suspend was broken for me. On every resume, my xsession would be gone and I would be back at the gdm prompt. The only error I could find in xorg.0.log was the following:
(EE) Virtual ThinkFinger Keyboard: Read error: No such device
(II) config/hal: removing device Virtual ThinkFinger Keyboard
(II) Virtual ThinkFinger Keyboard: Close
(II) UnloadModule: "evdev"
So I tried removing all thinkfinger packages and resume now works. in the process i also confirmed bug 355940, long pause before and after prompt caused by thinkfinger.
Running 32bit Jaunty RC1 on a thinkpad x61t
