Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Firefox is not in Latvian after installing Latvian language packs. Both firefox and xlurunner packages are translated into Latvian but translations do not appear in firefox.

Firefox version 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu3

you say that both are translated. Curious whether latvian available at mozilla.com? what is the lang code for that language?

Firefox is translated at mozilla.com as well. http://lv.www.mozilla.com/lv/

For latvian lang code is "lv-LV" but in firefox "lv" used in most places

NB that this is not in the actual langpack-o-matic code, but in Alex' scripts. I keep the task, though, because those scripts don't have an LP product.

Is this still an issue with the latest language packs in Jaunty? How abour Karmic and Lucid?
Upstream has the lv.xpi, so it should work fine by now.
