Bug Description

I am unable to mount my usb mass-storage sansa e260 media player. Here's my syslog events upon connecting the device:

Apr 19 21:11:19 gort kernel: [ 916.048161] usb 2-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5

Apr 19 21:11:20 gort kernel: [ 916.206107] usb-storage: device found at 5
Apr 19 21:11:20 gort kernel: [ 916.206111] usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning

and it stops there.

The same device is mounting well on my other intrepid machine.
I'm on ubuntu jaunty rc. Is there any further information I can provide?
