Bug Description

Gnome-panel, nm-applet, and update-notifier put messages prefixed with "DEBUG" in the .xsession-errors file. As those aren't errors or warnings, they shouldn't be logged by default.

Confirming, as I too see these, on Jaunty.

In addition, I still see gnome-panel and update-notifier spewage in .xsession-errors, so adding those back.

could you open different bugs rather than abusing tasks in a bug, otherwise subscribed to all those component will be spammed about every changed to other components they don't care about

I'm sorry, I didn't know you weren't supposed to do that. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to remove the tasks from this bug. If I change them to Invalid, people will still remain subscribed, isn't that right?
