Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
Dear friends,
Please see screen shot attached.
While in the process of upgrading to jaunty RC1 I notice that update manager notifies me with the regular orange icon that there are updates.
I open it and it shows me all the packages that are to be upgraded for jaunty. It also tells of a conflict - that a package should be removed and so on.
I've not proceeded with using update-manager, of course, but this is something which confused users might actually do.
I imagine that apart from it being confusing and not persistent it can harm the upgrade process.
Many blessings.

Thanks for your bugreport.
I agree that its pretty confusing. there is no real harm possible, pressing "proceed" would show a error that another package manager is already working. Still needs fixing though.
