Bug Description

I guess that's not wanted but in Ubuntu 9.04RC the font color in the menu bar (NEW WAVE theme) is black on grey (badly readable) while in other applications the font color is white (much better readable). Is this wanted? Ralph

problem prevails in final release of Jaunty, the menu -black on anthracite- is barely readable
