I imported a cisco pcf file via the gui. Everythink works as long as I do no try to connect to the network. When I do, the errormessage is : VPN connection error: VPN connection could not be established because there are no valid secrets.
I tried vpnc directly via the konsole and it works, so the bug has to be somewhere in the network manager. I also tried the clear group password provided by my university, but no change, still the group secret is not recognized.
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
NonfreeKernelMo
Package: network-
ProcEnviron:
LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: network-
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64
I've been able to reproduce this issue, but it has nothing to do with the .pcf import manager- vpnc:
With the same settings on network-
On Ubuntu 8.10 everything is fine
On Ubuntu 9.04 RC : using the nm-applet result in the same error (VPN connection error: VPN connection could not be established because there are no valid secrets.)
and thus, using "sudo vpnc" with the very same parameters works fine.
