Thanks for the report, I've tried to reproduce this with a few images and failed to do it, so not confirming, could you please attach those examples to the report? Which f-spot version are you running? Could you try with latest one in Jaunty? thanks in advance.

It's happening reproducably on my current setup, but not in a jaunty vm.

I'm using 0.5.0 on intrepid
