[jaunty] Wrong plasma geometries after xrandr screen resize

Bug Description

Sometimes (around 1 of 10 times) plasma does not set the right desktop geometries after switching to a higher screen resolution.

This happens when I switch from my laptop screen (1280x800) to the external LCD (1660x1200).

Please see the attached screenshot.

It is possible to resize the panel to full width, but it is impossible scale the background image to the full screen (using background properties) nor is it possible to place plasma widgets on the right side of the screen.

Since I see from your other bugs that you are running Kubuntu 9.10, can you please test to see if this is an issue with KDE 4.3 RC2?
Thanks in advance.

At the moment I haven't got the time to test this in karmic as this bug does not occur every time but sporadically.
But I'm using kde 4.3 on on jaunty for some weeks now and indeed I haven't seen this bug since then.
So I think that this is also the case for the ackages shipped with Karmic and we can mark this bug as fixed.

thanks

OK, testing with KDE 4.3 and jaunty is fine too. Thanks for that.
I'm closing the bug as fixed, but if this pops up again in 9.10 we can always reopen it.
