Authentication fails repetitively

Bug Description
I can't seem to get any of my 2 laptops authenticated anymore even after
(a) stoping the applet
(b) deleting the token in the keyring,
(c) relaunching the applet using 'ubuntuone-
(d) re-allowing ("add this computer").

Same error for me.
The icon continues to animate and top shows the client almost continuously busy, which should also not occur even if auth fails. Better would be if the icon show a notification that it failed auth and then stopped spinning.
