Occurred while updating Ubuntu Studio Jaunty Jackalope beta. This was the initial update attempt after a clean install of ubuntustudio-9.04-beta-alternate-i386. The following is the error output displayed after the update:

This looks to be a duplciate of bug 292159:

update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.28-11-generic
Failed to symbolic-link boot/initrd.img-2.6.28-11-generic to initrd.img.
dpkg: error processing linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 17

bug 292159 should be resolved as of casper version 1.162. Can you make sure you've got this newer version installed? Thanks.

I do not have any version of casper installed. (Ubuntu Studio does not have a "Live CD" option.)
