Binary package hint: language-pack-gnome-crh-base

I read in a forum that the "bug" program was the reason why "cannot fetch" keeps coming up. This seems to be a problem for loading new apps only when fetching from repository.

unfortunately the attached DpkgTerminalLog.txt does not contain the actual information for this error message, can you reproduce the problem and send the log again?

This looks very much like an out-of-disk-space situation where the root file system was out of space and thus installing the package failed. See Bug 312491 where better handling of such situations is discussed. Please check the available disk space, e.g. by running "df -h" to see if any of the filesystems is running out of space.
