strigidaemon fail to start with error "could not create FSDirectory: Invalid directory"

Bug Description

When I type strigidaemon from the command line, I get the following message:

WARNING: field 'http://strigi.sf.net/ontologies/0.9#debugParseError' is not defined in any rdfs ontology database.
could not create FSDirectory: Invalid directory

And nothing happen, the daemon don't start to index.

My system is Ubuntu 9.04 but same message with 8.10
