Bug Description

Binary package hint: kpackage

Kubuntu 9.04 fully updated

Whar happend:
kpackage failed to install phoronix-test-suite_1.8.0_all.deb.
GDebi did it well with all debendencies.

What should happen.
kpackage is set default for installing *.deb packages it should be able to do the job.

How to reproduce it.
Just try to install phoronix-test-suite_1.8.0_all.deb with Kpackage without all debendencies

KPackage will be removed in the next package upload to 9.10 since it is in quite bad shape and Kubuntu does not want to put any effort into it. Please use KPackageKit, which is considered to replace KPackage altogether.
Due to the changed conditions I will close this bug as Won't fix.
