Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-plasma
This is on Kubuntu 8.10 with KDE 4.2.2. I have activated "Only show tasks that are minimized" and have panel that does not cover the whole width of the screen.
The first window being minimized doesn't make the panel grow, so that almost nothing is visible of the entry for the minimized window. I would have expected the panel to grow, so that one entry in the taskbar has enough room.
The second window being minimized does make the panel grow. Now there is enough room for two entries.
Closing this second window does not make the panel shrink, so that now the only entry left is twice as wide as expected. I would have expected the panel to shrink, so there is not too much space covered by the only entry.
Closing this last window now makes the panel shrink correctly.
Fixed in Jaunty.
