Bug Description

Binary package hint: asoundconf-gtk

The default sound card applet doesn't start when I click on system>preferences>default sound card
Ubeuntu version: 8.10

$ asoundconf-gtk
You need to make sure asoundconf is active!
By default, asoundconf's configuration file is ~/.asoundrc.asoundconf
and must be included in ~/.asoundrc. Open this file to make sure it is!
