Firefox 3.0.8 loses all passwords (regression?) [Jaunty]

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Same symptoms as described here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/cannot+use+or+save+passwords+after+upgrading+Firefox upon starting Firefox this morning.

All previously saved passwords are missing.

Error console contains:

Error: this._storage is null

This looks more like a xulrunner bug.
Are you able to reproduce this after restarting firefox?
Can you please give us step by step instructions to rperoduce this with any and all links and other info that you can think of.
Please list all you extensions with a side note if they are enabled or disabled.
Does disabling ubufox are you able to still reproduce it without ubufox?

Yes, it happens after restarting Firefox (and after restarting the computer itself).

No extensions - have disabled ubufox but no change.

As for steps to reproduce it - it started after the today's Jaunty updates and was fine before - can't think of anything I've done to cause it, and it happens every time I open Firefox. I have also noticed that as well as not showing my saved passwords, it no longer offers to save any new passwords.
