Bug Description

Hi

I am running Jaunty 9.04 and since I upgraded to the 2.6.28-11.41 kernel the ATI 9.3 drivers will not install automatically saying:
Error: ./default_policy.sh does not support version
default:v2:x86_64:lib32::none:2.6.28-11-generic; make sure that the version is being correctly set by --iscurrentdistro

If I create the packages manually and install I get a libglx error 7, fglrx module mismatch 0 error

If I install the 2:8.600-0ubuntu2 driver packages then X crashes with the attached report info

Pleeeease help

I've posted a new version of the -fglrx driver to our xorg-edgers PPA,
would you mind testing it either on Jaunty or Karmic and see if it
resolves this bug?

Get fglrx 8.620 here:

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
