"Save" does not save all open drop-downs

Bug Description
A bug report such as bug #356615 has multiple "Affects" sections that are all expandable at the same time, but are not all saved at the same time:
1. Expand all drop-downs.
2. Update importance field in *two or more sections* at the same time.
3. Click Save.
4. Only the one of the drop-down entries has been saved, the others are lost.
Ideally, Launchpad should save all of the drop-downs at once.
