when using update-notifier-kde -d to upgrade from graphic desktop from 8.10 to 9.04 an error message about 10.5 M available in "/" in necessary but if we increase the size of the "/" partition it is still the same problem ; this bug is entirely inconsistent and make me think of a similar bug when trying to install ati proprietary driver ; the fix is to drop in konsole mode (CTRL + ALT +F2) to do the job and and this case there is no error message though the configuration is basically the same ; I will then try to do it the same way and report if it works.
