Bug Description
If you install Ubuntu with Wubi on a partition where NTFS file compression is enabled, hence making root.disk and swap.disk NTFS-compressed, Wubi installs successfully, but the Ubuntu installer complains.
Steps to reproduce:
1)Make an NTFS partition and ensure that file compression is enabled (you can do this by double clicking Computer, right-clicking the partition, clicking properties, finding the "Compress files in the disk to save disk space" at the bottom of the dialog box that appeared and by clicking OK or Apply.
2)Install Ubuntu with Wubi in the newly created partition and reboot
3)Boot Ubuntu and wait until the installer complains.
This bug was produced on vista, but I think it should be reproducible on NTFS compressed partitions under XP.

I also forgot to mention that Wubi 8.10 ensures that root.disk and swap.disk are not NTFS-compressed
