Bug Description

Hello, using Jaunty

the pointer tab in the window "personalize the theme" from "appearance" does not change the theme, keeping default anyway

Hi,
I've just tried that in my up to date Jaunty and it seems to work - I changed it from my default to one of the red ones and it seems to have changed.

Can you give more detail? What was your pointer before? What did you change it to? Did you see any change at all?

Dave

Ok, i made some more tests:

i didn't fiddle anything: no installing theme, no deleting theme, so just trying to change from a preinstalled one to another.
i saw more details:
when the cursors theme might be changed (manually or via another "whole" theme) nothing seems to have been changed. then i restart my session: it's changed !...

Are you running compiz? If so, is this a dupe of bug #141500? Or bug #403082?
