rocksndiamonds hangs when playing BD2K3 level2

Problem:

In Jaunty rocksndiamond hangs when playing level 2 of the levelset BD2K3.

The reason for this is, I think, that rocksndiamonds in Jaunty is build from the sources for 3.2.6.0.

According to the rockndiamond website: http://www.artsoft.org/rocksndiamonds/
3.2.6.0 should not be used because it contains a critical bug.

To quote: "Many people encountered a critical bug that apparently has crept into the current version 3.2.6.0 and that crashes the game. Unfortunately, there's no time to find and fix that bug and release a new version at the moment. Therefore, to play without problems, please switch back to the last stable version 3.2.4 for now. A fixed version 3.2.6.1 will be provided as soon as possible."

How to reproduce:
(1) Select levelset BD2K3.
(2) Start and finish the first level
(3) Start the second level.
-> Result rocksndiamonds hangs.

This seems to be not releated to the 3.2.6.0 sources.
I can reproduce the same bug with the 3.2.4 sources.

In addition: once this bug has occured, other levels don't work properly either after
a restart of rocksndiamonds. A log-out, log-in seems to solve the problem.
